Omani-born Fuad was educated in Burundi and completed his culinary qualification at NHI.

He began his career as an apprentice Chef at the world renowned Al Bustan Palace Hotel in Muscat, and worked in a series of positions at the hotel before leaving for France where he continued his training at the Chateau de Germigney. He returned to the Al Bustan for a brief spell as a Chef de Partie at the Beach Pavillion prior to joining Gulf Air in 2003 as Sky Chef, a golden flying opportunity, where Fuad had explored a world experience in food and beverage around the network for 3 years. He was then welcomed by the Al Bustan to serve the IHC as Sous Chef. Today Fuad is managing the food production section at the Oman Air Catering Unit.
