Adil Abdullah Al Balushi trained at NHI in 2004 where he completed a NVQ level 2 in Food & Beverage Service. After graduation he joined Grand Hyatt as a Room Service Waiter. In 2005 he joined Crowne Plaza Muscat as a Room Service Waiter and over the years Adil developed his practical skills attended internal courses and was promoted to Captain and then Supervisor.

Adil is a “Sleep Ambassador”, ensuring his clients sleep is not disturbed in the Quiet Zone.

Crowne Plaza recognized Adil commitment and he has been sent to London, at the Hyde Park InterContinental Hotel for cross exposure and training in June 2010 for two months. Adil encourages all young Omanis to join the hospitality business “fast development in Food & Beverage, I am that example” Adil future goal is to work towards a Food & Beverage Management role within IHG.
